- Conducts studies of programs, functions, work processes, staffing levels, methods and procedures and other related criteria in order to clarify, appraise, refine or improve program operations and/or management practices at an operating level.
- Reviews operating regulations and directives and other pertinent sources to gather, correlate, analyze, determine, and recommend appropriate actions.
- Analyzes and evaluates policies, procedures, guidelines, and administrative processes in order to resolve conventional problems and situations.
- Analyzes budget projections assessing validity of assumptions and consistency of estimates.
- Recommends workable solutions and management actions that are based on sound management principles and are achievable in relation to agency and bureau policy and regulations.
