- 1+ years experience with Nuclear Hardness Testing.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Familiarity with MIL-STD-883 and MIL-STD-750 requirements.
- Experience in nuclear hardness and survivability.
- Knowledge of electrical design practices.

Qualifications:Boeing's Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Missile and Weapons Systems (MWS) is in need of an Engineering Manager specializing in Radiation Lab Operations & Maintenance to support the Hill Air Force Base (HAFB) Little Mountain Test Facility (LMTF) Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Program located in Ogden, UT, or Hill AFB, UT. The Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of about 20 Engineers and Technicians engaged in operations and maintenance within a unique Radiation Lab environment.
Responsibilities involve running and managing test stands to ensure toughness and survivability for various programs under the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) and multiple DoD/DoE Programs. The role entails maintaining cutting-edge capabilities and ensuring 100% lab availability. The LMTF stands out as a Center of Excellence where Boeing possesses the necessary expertise to handle nuclear hardness related programs and hardware effectively. This position leads a multi-skilled team in executing engineering and program scope for Lab Operations & Maintenance (O&M), ICBM Test Programs, diverse DoD/DoE Test Programs worldwide, and activities aimed at upkeeping industry-leading test equipment and executions of LMTF's Radiation Labs.
This role involves providing supervision and approval for Lab Operations, Maintenance, Employee Certifications, Equipment Management, Lab Upgrades and Modifications, Test Stand Designs, and Facility Alarms, Safety, and Security.
Position Responsibilities:
This role requires 100% onsite presence. The chosen candidate must work onsite at one of the listed locations.
