Enjoy the idyllic scenery, abundant wildlife, and great opportunities for hiking, fishing, boating.Entrance to the famed Inside passage, a network of waterways, Ketchikan is on an island accessible by jet or ferry and boasts an incredibly rich, native culture - the southern tip of the panhandle is known as the Salmon Capital of the World.
Ideal CandidatePossessesa diverse skill set and be comfortable practicing independently.
Experience in certain specialties including but not limited to General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, OB, Trauma, and Pediatric Dental
Able to perform ultrasound guided blocks, OB labor epidurals, and central lines
Practice Highlights
Schedule is Monday-Friday: 7:00am -3:30pm
Every third day is home call, no secondary call, and very rarely is a case done when on call
Must be comfortable practicing solo with no backup
Regularly serves orthopedics, general surgery, OB/GYN. Also ENT, GI, Plastics, Pediatric Dental, Women's Health Surgeries, Urology

Primary and specialty medical care is provided by PeaceHealth Medical GroupKetchikan and Prince of Wales Island. Our Trauma IV emergency department operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, staffed by physicians who are independent contractors employed by National Emergency Services (NES)
