This position will be involved with advising and supporting the business in areas related to future state financial performance. Provides Finance consulting and coaching, as well as financial insight on market conditions, competitors, and alternative business scenarios.

Job Scope

• Compare and analyze actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Guide cost analysis process by policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending action to impacted operations teams.
• Improve financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management to mitigate challenges and optimize strengths.
• Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses, studying proposed changes in methods and materials.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual operating budgets, forecasts, reporting and monthly variance analysis.
• Perform analysis of the operations cost elements to ensure effective and efficient operations.
• Gather data and analyze product and customer profitability.
• Develop, organize and present detailed performance reports for internal use.
• Provide analytical and operational support to the business units.

What you bring

• Finance Degree.
• Master's degree a plus.
• Proven experience supporting leaders in the mining industry.
• Previous experience supporting the mining industry located in different countries and a clear understanding of global processes.
• Demonstrate powerful insights about the organization and context.
• High degree of integrity, initiative, professionalism, and respect for maintaining confidential information.
• Ability to prioritize work, coordinate multiple projects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal, influence and conflict resolution skills.
