    Description
    PSECU, a high-tech progressive financial institution with more than $8 billion in assets, is seeking a Home Equity Analyst to assist members and process loan applications to ensure a smooth, timely loan process from application through funding with a focus on Home Equity products.

    Employee Type: Full-time, Non -Exempt

    Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm. This is a hybrid schedule working remotely with minimum onsite expectation of 20%, or as needed. #LIHybrid

    Minimum Starting Pay Rate: $20.00/hr (Commensurate with experience)

    Candidate must be bondable and credit worthy.

    DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES - Essential for this position:
    • Process and analyze Home Equity lending products.
    • Demonstrate effective phone skills and handle incoming phone calls to include product inquiries, application status' and taking applications by phone.
    • Processes, denies, and approves loan applications, using analysis and interpretation of facts and understanding of federal and state regulations and credit union policy/procedures. Refers applications to management as required for 2nd level reviews.
    • Monitor and process various loan pipelines including new applications, incomplete applications, and approved applications. Make outbound follow up calls as needed.
    • Monitor and respond to incoming emails and Chat.
    • Performs in-depth review of appraisals on collateral property to determine its correctness and acceptability. Requests corrections/additional comments from appraiser, as needed.
    • Assists with procedure review and system testing.
    • Communicate with members, outside vendors, and resources (e.g., appraisers, counties, deed report provider, flood provider, etc.) and financial institutions to acquire information necessary to complete loan processing.
