- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Masters Degree in health care or related field
- Three (3) to five (5) years experience in health care

- A supervising Physician or Director of Patient Care Services may also be the Executive Director/Administrator. An administrator who is neither a physician nor a registered nurse shall have training and experience in health service administration and at least one year of supervisory experience in home health/hospice care or health related programs.

Responsibilities:The Executive Director is responsible for the overall direction of the home health services. They are responsible for the employment of qualified hospice personnel; is responsible for the provision of home health services, directly, and the delegation to and coordination of personnel evaluations; is responsible for establishing standards of care to comply with federal and state regulations and guidelines. The Executive Director establishes, implements, and evaluates goals and objectives for hospice services that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy.
