    Description

    The software tester has direct access to the machines and how they are controlled. They help ensure customers receive quality software that will keep Epiroc First in Choice.

    The Role:

    • Support RCS (Rig Control System) programs and technology options
    • Review software requirements and preparation of test cases
    • Execution of tests and accurate reporting of findings
    • Assist with documentation of software functionality
    • Root cause analysis of production and field issues
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Skills/ExperienceSpecial Knowledge, Certification, or License:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science or the equivalent relevant work experience
    • An understanding of electronics and hydraulic systems
    • Experience testing software or machinery
    • An understanding of control system logic is desirable
    • A good understanding of RCS software, configurations, and options on RCS machines and devices is desirable

    Work Experience (Minimum Required):

    • 2 years in a heavy manufacturing environment
