**Description**
We are looking for a **Delivery Driver** to provide excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of customer orders. Warehouse Drivers make pick-ups as necessary, perform general warehouse duties and customer assistance as needed. **Experience with driving a box truck and clean driving record is required.**
**Qualifications:**
Drive company vehicle to make customer deliveries and stock pick-ups, obeying traffic laws and safety procedures.
Load truck accurately and safely for customer deliveries.
Maintain appropriate licensing, credentials, and acceptable driving record.
Act in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
Fill customer orders by retrieving material from the warehouse and other locations.
Check in and put away material, verifying quantities and quality of received material. Maintain clear isles and walkways. Ensure material is properly organized.
Provide assistance to warehouse associates as needed.
Perform cycle counts as required following through on discrepancies as needed.
Perform vehicle and/or forklift inspections as required, schedule routine or repair maintenance as needed. Maintain presentable truck appearance, cleaning as needed.
Assist in performance of year-end physical inventories for various branch locations.
**Experience and Qualifications**
High School Diploma required, 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
Clean driving record.
Experience driving a box truck is a must
Customer service experience as relates to deliveries and pickups.
General warehouse experience including picking/packing, receiving, inventory, shipping and related paperwork, forklift & pallet jack operation, and basic computer skills.
Good communication skills both verbal and written.
Ability to multitask.
Able to work independently and as a productive team member.
