    Responsibilities:
    • Develop preliminary construction schedules based on the project information provided in the plans and
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintain a highly organized work area, meet critical deadlines, prioritize daily activities, and
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills with a strong attention to detail
    • Works hands on and independently
    • Working knowledge of construction assemblies and all project phases.
    • Ability to read, write and communicate
    • Responsible for a safe work environment for themselves and co-workers daily
    • Properly follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for a safe working environment. Report any problems to the AOM, Safety Manager, or Human Resources Manager.
    • Communicates daily with customer to ensure project is complete within timeline.
    • Responsible for managing personnel as well as scheduling and monitoring time worked for estimating purposes
    • Ensures that quality control standards are met.
    • Communicate to KYT inspectors.
    • Coordinate to ensure permits and licensing are obtained for job sites.
    • Ensures that field measurements, core samples, density, tonnage, and labor are consistent with the job site bids.
    • Liaison between contractors and employer
    • Facilitate meetings as needed with the state or county officials as needed
    • Communicate with supervisors regarding processes, delays, or workload based on priority.
    • Ensuring that projects are completed on-time, within scope, and within budget
    • Completing site inspections before, during, and after project completion
    • Communicating daily/weekly goals with the crew to ensure the team meets or is ahead of schedule
    • Being flexible to perform other duties as needed to get the job done
    • Complying with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
    • The position is responsible for managing daily activities and issues related to completing a paving project, including overall project planning, scheduling, project cost accounting, quality control, contract administration, safety management, labor and equipment resources, and owner relationships
    • Oversees construction projects from start to finish by developing a master project schedule that is updated and communicated to all subcontractors, suppliers, owners, and field personnel to assure timely project(s) completion
    • Other duties as assigned per supervisor.
    Requirements:
    • Must be at least 18 years in age or older.
    • Must have a current and valid driver's license.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a requirement of this position as well as meticulous attention to detail
    • 2 years of experience of project management experience
    • Bachelor s Degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or related field experience
    • Working knowledge of construction assemblies and all project phases
    • Experience in identify value-engineering
    • Ability to identify constructability issues through the estimating
    • Ability to assess site exposures/construction risks and appropriately analyze cost and reflect these in an
    • Ability to produce accurate estimates from conceptual and schematic
    • Ability to produce detailed, final contract
    • Ability to read, write and communicate
    • Experience with SAP preferred
    • Must be highly self-motivated, persistent ad able to cope with requirements of a fast paced environment
    • Proven ability to develop & maintain long-term business relationships
    • Strong computer skills in Word and Excel; highly self-motivated, persistent and able to cope with the requirements of a fast paced work environment
    • Have a balanced combination of strong leadership and facilitation skills, dedication to client service, effective project management, and proven talents in strategic thinking
    • Positive and proactive attitude with ability to address issues and implement solutions
    • Ability to work independently and take initiative
    • Fluency in oral and written English
