- Provide COMSEC support.
- Maintain accurate records of all COMSEC transactions.
- Provide for the destruction of COMSEC material in accordance with applicable regulations and directives.
- Conduct semi-annual inventories and Hand Receipt Holder inspections.
- Conduct audits of all material in the COMSEC account as directed by the Central Office of Record (COR)
- Promptly forward all account changes to the Central Office of Record (COR)
- Advise and train COMSEC Hand Receipt Holders on policies and procedures.
- Provide technical assistance by configuring, loading, installing, and troubleshooting COMSEC equipment.
- Support COMSEC voice and Secure Tele-conferencing Equipment (STE) or updated versions
- Initiate investigations concerning possible or actual violations and reporting to the Central Office of Record (COR)
- Interface with internal/external customers to identify COMSEC requirements and provide COMSEC solutions.
- Support collateral, SCI, and/or Special Access Programs (SAP) as required by the government.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 2 years of experience with information security, industrial security, or communications security.
- Possession of a High School Diploma, AA degree is preferred. Equivalent education/experience is applicable.
- May be required to possess Security Fundamentals Professional and Special Program Security Certification and Industrial Security Oversight Professional.
- Completion of required COMSEC training.
