Welder - 2nd Shift - Pardeeville, WI

Job description
Creates signs and poles from sheet metal using various methods of fabrication and metal cutting equipment. Weld pieces of material together by using either MIG or TIG welding. Will also grind welds, pieces, or shear edges with power grinder. Will also be trained to run to shears, CNC, drill press, various metal cutters.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Weld using either MIG or TIG
- Operate various equipment such as shears, computers, drills, saws, as well as using welding equipment
- Set up, adjust, and properly use various equipment.
- Pick up stock and place in carts.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment.
- Any other duty assigned by the supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and bend and twist up to 45 degrees
- Ability to read blue prints
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to touch and raise arms above shoulder
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to follow safety rules and work in proactively safe manner.
- National Coalition of Certifications Centers (NC3) Certification Preferred
Schedule:
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM, Monday - Thursday
- 2nd Shift Differential Offered
