Business Development Manager

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Compensation:

Minimum Salary: $40,000

Maximum Salary: $55,000

PrideStaff is expanding in the Brooklyn, NY area to meet the demand for administrative, clerical, and light industrial professionals. The PrideStaff Outside Sales Representative is part of a sales, recruiting, and placement team, and focuses specifically on administrative, clerical, and light industrial recruitment and client development. PrideStaff Outside Sales Representatives/Business Development Managers benefit from creating outstanding experiences with clients and job seekers through sales and recruiting efforts, and successfully matching talented professionals with top companies in the area.

Business Development Manager Position Summary:

Generate sales to contribute to the branch's overall revenue, gross profit, and net profit. As an Outside Sales Representative/Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business and expanding our existing client base. In this role, you will make phone calls as well as in-person sales calls to generate orders from prospects, targets, and clients.

Key Responsibilities for the Business Development Manager will include:

Generate temporary Service sales by developing new client relationships
Meet quarterly and yearly sales, gross margin, and profit targets
Foster relationships with new clients
Maintain relationships at the critical decision-maker level with high-potential accounts

Business Development ManagerResponsibilities:

Develop new client sales
Develop leads for temporary usage
Qualify leads, identify potential targets
Develop sales plans for each marketing opportunity
Develop Relationships with all levels or buyers at target companies
Visit to include lead to the next step in the marketing process
Visits conducted to include: client profile, action plan development, coach development, quality assessment, continuous improvement, assignment development, project management, service team intro, a tour of facilities, performance review, and planning
As a part of the temp team, assist in filling jobs and interviewing when needed
Develop business contacts through active participation in business-oriented or community program

Preferred Education and Experience/Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree is preferred but can be substituted for a similar experience
H.S. Diploma or GED is required of all employees
One plus year of experience in outside sales
Experience selling to all levels of staff at corporate clients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Driver's license in order to freely travel throughout the Brooklyn and Queens area

Language Skills:

Must be able to communicate English fluently in writing and verbally
Ability to read, analyze and interpret procedures outlined in company policies
Ability to write reports and business correspondence
Ability to effectively respond to questions or complaints from managers, clients, employees, and the general public
