    Job Description

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Education Level:  Master's degree
    2. Certification/License Required:  Valid Georgia Educational Leadership Certificate Required for employment
    3. Experience:  3 years of successful educational experience
    4. Physical Activities:  Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities
    5. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:  Written and oral communication; leadership; organizational and interpersonal skills; computer competence; instructional strategies that connect the curriculum to the learners; student management

    REPORTS TO:  Principal

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance.
    2. Consistently model and actively promote shared decision-making, high expectations, mutual respect, and a positive school culture.
    3. Support, communicate, and implement school safety measures and crisis emergency plans to create and sustain a safe, secure, orderly, and healthy learning environment consistent with district rules, policies, and procedures.
    4. Assist in the enforcement of policies concerning student discipline and attendance.
    5. Keep the principal apprised of activities, situations, and developments that effect the school operation.
    6. Assist with the organization and implementation of staff development; assist in the supervision of extracurricular program.
    7. Supervise the proper use and preservation of buildings, grounds, furnishings, equipment, and facilities of the school.
    8. Implement employee evaluation systems fairly and consistently, within required timeframe and format, to document proficiencies and deficiencies, and to provide timely formal and informal feedback.
    9. Supervise student activities, assemblies, and other activities; assist in organizing student activities.
    10. Support a fiscally responsible budget to support the school's mission and goals.
    11. Model professionalism in appearance, respect, understanding, sensitivity, and demeanor.
    12. Perform other duties as assigned by appropriate administrator.

    TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 210 day position. Salary based on board approved certified teacher pay schedule.

    EVALUATION:  Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the principal.
