Overview

Spence's Science Department seeks an experienced educator to join a department committed to collaboration, pedagogical inquiry, and to empowering girls and women in the sciences.

Responsibilities

• Teach four sections of Upper School Biology and Chemistry
• Collaborate with teaching teams to design curriculum, assessments, and teaching methods.
• Participate in department-wide initiatives about issues of equity, pedagogy, and curriculum
• Possibly serve as an Upper School advisor Spence is committed to an equitable program and a diverse faculty and student body. We, therefore, actively seek candidates from diverse backgrounds.

  • Possesses sustained experience teaching Upper School Biology
