We are excited to share that we are expanding our capabilities and adding a new role to the Petro Ledger conversion team, which will improve our clients' experience by ensuring smooth data and system transitions. We are currently looking for an experienced Conversion Specialist who can lead the implementation of innovative solutions and drive efficiency within the Oil and Gas sector.

Position Overview:

The Conversion Specialist will have a critical role in the process of transferring data between systems, transforming business processes, and integrating new technologies within our client's environments. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in Oil and Gas (O&G), a proven track record in project implementation, and technical expertise to navigate complex ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead data conversion from legacy systems to new platforms, ensuring data integrity and alignment with business requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop conversion strategies.

Utilize Alteryx and other data transformation tools to map, cleanse, and validate data sets.

Participate in the design and execution of test plans to ensure accurate data conversion.

Provide expertise in at least two O&G-specific ERP software platforms for a smooth transition.

Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications throughout the conversion process.

Document conversion processes and train users on new systems and procedures.

Identify and mitigate risks associated with data conversion activities.

Offer input into continuous improvement initiatives for conversion methodologies.

Qualifications:

Minimum five years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

Strong implementation background with a focus on system conversions and data migrations.

A solid transactional background with an understanding of financial and operational data flows within O&G.

Experience with Alteryx or similar data blending and analytics tools is highly desirable.

Proficiency in at least two O&G-specific ERP software systems are preferred ( e.g. Pak, W Energy, On-Demand, Ogsys, Enertia, etc.).

Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.

A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting or a related field is preferred.
