    Job Description

    Find your purpose at the Redwood Hospital working as a Surgical Technologist Join a supportive team of professionals.

    Position Details
    • Part-time position working 48 hours per two weeks.
    • Primarily Mon-Fri Daytime shifts with varied start times from 5:30AM to 8:30AM. Also includes after-hours call shifts. 20-minute response time required for call shifts.
    • Sign-on Bonus* of $2,500 and Relocation Bonus** of $2,500 for eligible candidates or $5,000 Education Loan Repayment.

    Job Summary

    The Surgical Technologist delivers skilled surgical services, under the supervision of a registered nurse, according to the established plan of care, following established department philosophy, policies, and procedures.

    Qualifications
    • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
    • Certified Surgical Technologist
    • Basic Life Support
    • Possesses verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with circulating nurses, physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and patients/families.
    *To be eligible for the Sign-on bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare/Carris for at least 9 months at the date of hire.

    **To be eligible for the Relocation bonus you must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare/Carris in the last 9 months. You also must currently reside more than 50 miles away from Redwood Falls, MN and relocate to within 30 miles of it.
