Job Title:
Mechanical EngineerPrincipal Duties and ResponsibilitiesFamiliar with different HVAC system types and their applicationsHVAC systems selection, sizing and design (ductwork and piping)Experienced with Mechanical Codes and Energy Efficiency StandardsEngineering experience with energy efficiency, developing or supporting performance-based projects or energy servicesPerform Heating, Cooling Load Calculations and Title 24 Compliance calculations using Energy-Pro and eQuest programsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlinesAbility to write technical proposals and reportsJob Specifications (incl.
Education requirements, minimal experience, computer skills required, etc.)Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering3+ years' experience in HVAC DesignCEM, EIT highly preferredKnowledge of OSHPD codes are a plusIndependent decision making is requiredComputer skills using MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Project and Adobe Acrobat.
