Job Overview

Oversees the performance of a number of Leslie's store to ensure they are meeting or exceeding customer service standards, sales plans, profitability, operating procedures, and all merchandising objectives.

The District Manager is directly responsible for growing and managing sales plans, profit margins, payroll, and all controllable expenses within a District.

The District Manager is responsible for the effective execution of all company-developed programs.

Oversees to ensure that all new team members are proficient applicants with the right competencies and experience and ensures that General Managers under their responsibility train and develop team members in all required training programs.

Establishes the expectation of providing excellent customer service and a great place to work through personal example and principles.

Responsibilities

The successful completion of training within one-hundred and eighty (180) days of being onboarded.
Ensure district stores meet or exceed budgeted sales.
Drive water test conversion and prescription sales penetration.
Meet conversion, UPT and ATS goals and build action plans where improvement needed.
Manage controllable expenses to drive profitability.
Grow customer count through customer service training and standards.

Qualifications

At least 3-5 years field experience in a multi-unit retail environment.
A bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or marketing preferred.
Excellent references from supervisors, peers, and direct reports.
Ability to relocate helpful but not required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
