    BASIC FUNCTION - The Manager In Training program is a six month rotational program designed to prepare highly talented college graduates for leadership roles in SP+ operations. Program participants develop numerous contacts and have opportunities to interact with senior management. The program includes leadership, operations and customer service curriculum and promotes continuous learning. Management supports participants through mentoring and ongoing training, development and performance feedback. Upon completion of the program, participants will be considered for Facility Manager opportunities within SP+.

    PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

    The program is approximately six months in duration and includes two to four rotations in areas such as:

  • Commercial
  • Hospitals/Universities
  • Municipalities
  • Hospitality
  • Events/Large Venue
  • Airports
  • Responsibilities

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    As a Manager in Training, you'll gain responsibility for marketing new business and maintaining current relationships. You'll become proficient in generating revenue, understanding cost control, leveraging technology and managing a budget. Customer service is the foundation of what makes us successful. We will teach you how to communicate, influence and interact for optimal results - as well as how to maintain a safe environment. Most significantly, you'll learn how to mentor, train, develop, manage and promote a team of your own.

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Interest in the services industry
  • Ability to relocate
  • License Requirement: Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
