    Description
    Position Name: Radiology Technologist

    Location: College Station, TX 77845

    Duration: permanent

    Shift: Day/ 8:00 am – 4:00 pm / M – F /40 hr

    Duties:
    • Performs radiographic examinations with minimal supervision under the direction of the Radiologist.
    • Coordinates daily activities to include performing examinations and associated clerical duties.


    Essential Functions:
    • Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
    • Documents patient history about specific procedures on requisition submitted by a physician.
    • Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
    • Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
    • Consult with radiologists and other physicians, as necessary.
    • Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedures and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
    • Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
    • Physical Requirements Requires strenuous physical effort while assisting patients from wheelchairs and stretchers.


    Required Credentials:
    • BLS – AHA
    • ARRT Certification
