Position Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a QA Team Leader. As the QA Tech 3 (Shift Lead), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our tortilla products, overseeing a team of quality assurance professionals.
Work Schedule:
Schedule: Thursdays through Saturdays, with alternating Wednesdays
Shift: 6 PM-6:15AM
Salary: $19-$21/hr depending on experience, plus $3 differential for night shift
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management: Lead a team of QA technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure team cohesion and efficiency.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate existing QA processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance specifications.
Product Testing and Analysis: Coordinate and conduct thorough testing and analysis of tortilla products at various stages of the production process, identifying and addressing any deviations from quality specifications.
Training and Development: Provide training to new QA Team Members, helping them to understand and execute job duties effectively.
Communication and Collaboration: Open and honest communication with a collaboration focus is critical to success in this role. This role needs to understand what and how to communicate with other groups and help others on their team to learn the same.
