About the Role:

CrowdStrike is seeking a Cloud Engineer III to join the expanding EASM Engineering team with a focus on providing top-notch experiences to customers, enhancing their ability to identify, prioritize, and manage internet-facing assets. This contributes to bolstering digital security and minimizing potential breaches. As part of a collaborative team, you will be responsible for a specific segment of the infrastructure, working alongside Cloud Engineers, UI Engineers, Product, and QA to fortify and enhance our product offering.

What You'll Do:

• Craft secure and sustainable code to support CrowdStrike's flagship products
• Engage with cross-functional teams to brainstorm, research, and implement solutions aligned with our Product roadmap
• Develop and enhance backend microservices using Go and Python
• Launch and maintain features for a global user base
• Understand and address business and technical requirements proactively
• Maintain a customer-centric approach in feature planning and release
• Prioritize code quality through best practices, testing, and metrics
• Take ownership of your work in a collaborative environment

What You'll Need:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years working with Golang, Python, Cassandra, or similar technologies
• Experience in developing, delivering, and managing large-scale systems
• Proficiency in distributed systems, microservices, multi-region architectures, and engineering best practices
• Expertise in scalability, distributed systems, and system debugging
• Proficient in testing, peer code reviews, and resilient architecture
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Bonus Points:

• Familiarity with Python, Go, AWS, Cassandra, Kafka, Elasticsearch
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Previous exposure to cybersecurity or intelligence fields
