- Monitor and administer server, storage, and database infrastructure and applications, including server virtualization environment; Windows, Linux, and Unix operation systems; application load balancers; and SQL and Oracle database environments.
- Administer Microsoft Windows services, including domain controllers, Active Directory, DNS, SharePoint, File Share, System Configuration Center Manager (SCCM), Microsoft Online, and O365.
- Administer data backups.
- Plan and implement infrastructure upgrades and software patches.
- Ensure server, storage, database, and infrastructure compliance with all applicable business policies, standards, and regulations.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve systems/applications faults and/or outages.
- Perform disaster recovery tests.
- Generate and maintain documentation, including procedures, topology diagrams, project plans, and business justifications.
- Follow IT Change Control processes and procedures.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new and emerging technologies.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
- Install fully assembled server and storage devices and appliances to support emerging business needs, hardware lifecycle, and/or hardware failures.
- Oversee the patching process ensuring timely patch deployment to protect systems and applications and manage vulnerability remediation. Manage vulnerability remediation, minimizing risks and maintaining robust security
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Server/SQL certification preferred.
- VMware Certified Associate (VCA) certification preferred.
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification preferred.
- CompTIA Server+ certification preferred.
- CompTIA Cloud Essentials+ certification preferred.
- CompTIA Security+ certification preferred.
- Excellent planning, interpersonal, problem-solving, customer service, relationship management, self-motivation, time management, prioritization, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
