- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of coding cancer sites as specified by national guidelines.
- Maintains long term follow-up data on all cancer patients by contacting hospitals, physicians or patients.
- Conducts follow-up interviews by phone and/or mail follow-up letters per accreditation standards in order to
- Performs quality checks by reviewing abstracts with a physician advisor or by re-abstracting charts.
