Accounting Specialist

Job Opportunity

Overview:

We have an exciting client located in Pittsburgh, a start-up company in the technology sector that is making huge growth strides.

As an Accounting Specialist, be part of this energetic, results-orientated company that is working with well-known Fortune 500 clients and helping them solve the way they impact and interact with their own clients through interactive communication and technology.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing the accounting daily transactions such as accounts payable, receivables, invoicing, and general ledger.

Bring your attention to detail and organizational skills to help us maintain impeccable records.

Responsibilities -
Accounting Specialist:

Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.

Accounting Specialist will manage vendor payments, set-up new accounts, and reconcile statements.

Review employee expense reports.

Accounting Specialist monitors and tracks customer payments.

Handle customer inquiries on billing and payments.

Maintain precise financial records and prepare regular reports.

Contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes.

Requirements of the

Accounting Specialist:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business OR relevant work experience.

Accounting Specialist should have at least 2-3 years of accounts payable and accounts receivable experience.

Industry experience in advertising, technology, or software a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.

Familiarity with QuickBooks online.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational prowess.
