    Job Title: System Engineer

    Location: Columbia, MD

    Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) from NSA

    Salary: $285,000 annually

    Position Details:

    This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.

    Responsibilities:

    • Create functional architecture diagrams
    • Support the creation of a functional requirements draft
    • Validate functional alignment of requirements using the functional architecture
    • Identify gaps or overlap in scope leveraging the functional architecture
    • All work is required to be done using Cameo and VUIT tools

    Qualifications:

    Required Education & Years of Experience

    • A High School Diploma or GED plus twenty-four (24) years of general systems engineering experience
    • OR
    • A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university AND a minimum of twenty (20) years of general systems engineering experience
    • OR
    • A Master's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university AND a minimum of eighteen (18) years of general systems engineering experience

    Required Skills

    • Proficient use of an MBSE modeling application
    • Experience developing artifacts that comply with the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)
    • Ability to work both independently and within a team
    • Practical Systems Engineering experience in system design, documentation development, requirements gathering, documentation and review, system architecture, CONOPS, and system verification
    • Ability to effectively work and collaborate in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to explain technical work in a non-technical manner

    Desired Skills

    • Recent use of Cameo or MagicDraw
    • Experience using visualization tools such as VUIT
    • Current or previous use working in the customer specific Meta-Model (AIMM)
