Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and work in a school-based setting in the San Leandro area. Apply or email for immediate consideration.

Position Overview: As a contract SLP, you will play a crucial role in supporting the communication and language development of students. This rewarding position involves collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs
Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate speech and language goals into the curriculum
Conduct screenings and participate in the identification and referral process for students with communication challenges
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, progress reports, and treatment plans

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
CA SLP Licensure
Passion for working with children and promoting positive communication skills
