    Overview

    Fairview Health Services is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to join our Medical Imaging team at our M Health Fairview Clinic location in Brooklyn Park, MN.

    The Radiologic Technologist functions independently, adhering to the requirements of professional practice in performing all work responsibilities. The technologist performs a wide variety of complex diagnostic testing in the discipline of radiology, as well as other diagnostic imaging services they are qualified to perform. The technologist is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements.

    Schedule : This position will be working 0.8 FTE (64 hours every two weeks). The shift length will be 8 hours on the day/evening shift. This schedule will be a rotating 7 days on/7 days off schedule

    Responsibilities Job Description

    As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Prioritizing work to achieve optimal patient and revises priorities for diagnostic appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family, and other customer effectively with all members of the health care team.
  • Applying established professional guidelines and standards for complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing to radiologic diagnostic testing compliance with regulatory agency infection control to safety imaging procedures meet all standards and as a resource for other healthcare team appropriately to emergent situations.
  • Evaluating imaging results for diagnostic the validity of the test results to determine if consistent with changing physiological conditions or if due to possible interfering as a resource for problem-solving resolution.
  • Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

  • Education Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree
  • Experience 0 - 1 Year performing radiology services
  • License/Certification/Registration Certification as required by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)BLS Certification or successful completion during orientationMust have a current BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • Additional Requirements Understanding of current Minnesota Department of Health Regulatory requirementsKnowledge of quality control and safety standardsPrevious ambulatory care experience preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience 1 or more years performing radiology services
