The Lincoln Group has partnered with a client in the manufacturing industry producing products for Automotive and Aerospace industries, in search of a Maintenance Technician to join their team Looking for candidates who want to join, build, and contribute to a great team and an evolving culture
Type of Hire: Temp-to-Hire
Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Oxnard, CA
Work Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday- Friday
Compensation: $24 - $28+/hr. contingent on Experience
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Offers technical assistance through training and resolving issues for maintenance and manufacturing staff. Ensures adherence to safety protocols across departments. Cultivates positive employee relations.
- Remains knowledgeable about all OSHA, Arc Flash, and LO/TO procedures, ensuring updates are implemented when needed.
- Deciphers operational manuals, manufacturer's specifications, blueprints, and schematics for machinery.
- Possesses extensive expertise spanning 7+ years in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatics, machining, and fabrication.
- Executes tasks and duties delegated by the immediate supervisor.
- Executes general repair and maintenance tasks.
- Contributes to the PM program implementation and monitors outcomes.
- Participates in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Proficient in all OSHA, Arc Flash, and LO/TO protocols, updating as necessary.
- Contributes to Continuous Improvement endeavors.
- Takes charge of leading and overseeing individual projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician.
- Ability to work with confidential information.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions related to electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, servo, and stepper motor systems.
- Attention to detail and safety.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
