    Director of Medical-Surgical Services (Med/Surg)

    A leadership role in a dynamic and essential department of our hospital.

    You will lead a high-performing clinical team, ensuring exceptional patient care and driving departmental goals that align with our organization's mission and values.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and mentor nursing managers, RNs, and clinical support staff across the Med/Surg unit.
    • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
    • Manage budgets, staffing, and departmental performance metrics.
    • Champion evidence-based practice, patient safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and Joint Commission regulations.

    Requirements:

    • RN license in Texas (or eligible for licensure).
    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
    • 5+ years of progressive nursing leadership experience, with a strong background in Med/Surg.
    • Proven ability to lead teams, manage complex operations, and drive performance.
