    Radiation Oncology Physician

    Required Skills:
    Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology
    Valid medical license to practice in the state of Michigan
    Strong understanding of radiation therapy techniques, including linear accelerators such as Varian TrueBeam
    Excellent clinical judgment, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
    Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
    Effective communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare staff


    Nice to Have Skills:
    Experience with advanced radiation treatment planning and image-guided radiotherapy
    Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
    Prior experience in hospital-attached outpatient clinics
    Additional certifications in oncology or related fields


    Preferred Education and Experience:
    MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
    Completion of an accredited Radiation Oncology residency program
    At least 3 years of clinical experience in radiation oncology preferred


    Other Requirements:
    Availability for orientation on February 11, 2026
    Willingness to work various shifts, including potential call coverage (evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts)
    Compliance with hospital and state/federal healthcare regulations
    Ability to adhere to safety and procedural protocols associated with radiation treatment
