    *Job Description:


    As a Material Handler Supervisor with kitting experience at Preferred Precision Group, you will play a critical role in our manufacturing operations.

    You will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate handling of materials, including kitting processes, to support our production activities.

    *Key Responsibilities:

    * *Supervise Material Handling Team:
    • Lead and manage a team of material handlers to ensure smooth operations and adherence to quality standards.

    * *Kitting Management:
    • Coordinate the assembly and organization of kits required for production, ensuring accuracy and completeness according to work orders and production schedules.

    * *Inventory Control:
    • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and collaborate with the procurement team to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing waste and excess.

    * *Safety Compliance:
    • Uphold safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment for all team members. Implement and enforce safety measures related to material handling activities.

    * *Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the material handling and kitting operations. Implement solutions to streamline workflows and reduce lead times.

    * *Training and Development:
    • Provide training and guidance to material handling staff on proper procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols. Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development.

    * *Collaboration:
    • Work closely with production managers, logistics personnel, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination of materials and resources to meet production goals.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
    • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment, with specific experience in material handling and kitting operations.
    • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
    • Proficiency in using inventory management software and other relevant tools.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coach team members effectively.
    • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and adapt to changing priorities.
