- My client is one of the premier glass & glazing contractors in New York.
- They are currently in the market for a Senior Estimator from their offices on Long Island.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to understand the scope and requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather relevant information.
- Develop accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and other project expenses.
- Utilize historical data, industry benchmarks, and market trends to ensure realistic and competitive estimates.
- Consider various factors such as location, project complexity, and regulatory requirements.
- Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with vendors and subcontractors.
- Maintain relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
- 10+ Years Experience within Exterior & Interior Glass and Metal
- Strong Knowledge of Bluebeam, Excel
- Strong Knowledge of Logikal is a bonus
- Experienced bidding for work with large general contractors and working to deadlines
- Ability to read and understand specifications.
