    Physician Assistant Vascular Surgery


    The Physician Assistant for Vascular Surgery at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA, is responsible for providing comprehensive care in a multifaceted role that includes outpatient clinic duties, inpatient rounding, and assisting in the operating room. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited physician assistant program with appropriate licensure and certification, and must be equipped to work across various patient age groups. This full-time position emphasizes excellence, collaboration, and patient-centered care within a diverse team.


    Job Duties:

    • Join a dedicated team of vascular surgeons and physician assistants/nurse practitioners at Geisinger Community Medical Center.
    • This practice is a mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, first assist OR time, and weekend and night call.
    • The successful Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner must be a graduate of an accredited program, eligible or certified by the relevant board, and eligible or certified to work with all patient population age groups.


    Education and Certification:

    • Bachelor's/Master's Degree - Physician Assistant/Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
    • Certification(s) and License(s) - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)/Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing
