    Position Summary:
    Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for consolidation accounting and financial reporting

    Tasks:


    Responsible for preparing monthly consolidated financial statements and financial reporting packagesAssist in overseeing the completion of quarterly compliance certificatesParticipate in monthly financial review meetings with senior managementResponsible for creating and maintaining financial statement reports in the Sage Intacct GL systemAssist with month-end close procedures and overall Sage Intacct system administrationPerform detailed review of consolidation entries and post-close journal entriesAssist in the review and delivery of monthly income statements for new partner officesPerform and review monthly flux activity for office income statementsAssist in managing and coordinating auditor requests related to the annual financial statement auditEstablish and maintain formal written policies and procedures for financial reporting processes as neededCoordinate the compilation and review of pro forma financial information provided by the internal M&A teamBuild relationships with senior management team and other internal business stakeholdersOther accounting duties, operational tasks, and projects as neededSpecific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Proven ability to think critically and strategicallyAbility to plan effectively and promote a team environmentStrong ability/focus on analyzing detailed financial informationMust have advanced skills in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.

    Experience with large volume datasets, Power Query/Pivot is a plusUnderstanding of and experience working in cloud-based accounting systems. Experience with Sage Intacct is a plusExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environmentExperience and Education:Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or related field required4+ years of previous accounting experience requiredExperience at a Big 4 or large regional public accounting firm preferredCPA preferredExperience with consolidated financial statements of a multi-subsidiary organization is strongly preferredExtensive knowledge of US GAAP accounting requiredInsurance industry knowledge is not required#J-18808-Ljbffr
