    • DEFENSE Overview Axient is looking for an experienced RF Systems Engineer to support our cusomter at Robins AFB in GA.
    Responsibilities * Provide support in the design and development of high-power RF systems that will be deployed to produce a wide spectrum of electronic warfare test and evaluation environments.

    * Support the design of new transmitters and the modification/redesign of existing systems to extend existing navigation warfare capabilities to meet evolving customer requirements.

    * Identify commercial sources of viable RF equipment and verifying the performance of acquired components meet their specs and in turn support overall system requirements.

    * Troubleshoot and identify engineering solutions for malfunctioning navigation warfare equipment. Qualifications * ABET accredited bachelor's degree in Engineering. * Ten (10) years of professional experience. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

    Other Desirable Experience * Experience is highly desired in RF components such as high-power RF amplifiers, signal sources, high power antennas, RF power measurement sensors and associated components.

    * Experience and knowledge in modulation techniques, equipment, waveform generation, characterization and validation is highly desired.

    * Must have ability to work within specific procedures and processes of the Air Force Test Center and DoD regulations and guidelines.
