    Description

    Reefer Peterbilt is a second-generation family-owned full-service medium & heavy-duty truck dealership looking for a IT Support Technician at our New Boston location to support our computing environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in IT support, a passion for technology, and experience in environments related to dealerships.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical assistance and support to dealership staff.
    • Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade all dealership computer hardware and equipment.
    • Ensure seamless integration and functionality of desktop computers with dealership-specific systems (CRM, inventory management, etc.).
    • Provide hands-on support for network-related issues, including LAN/WAN and VoIP systems.
    • Manage user access, system security, and data integrity for computing environments.
    • Conduct training sessions for staff on new software/applications relevant to dealership operations.
    • Offer exceptional customer service to all staff, addressing IT-related incidents and requests promptly.
    Requirements
    • High school diploma or equivalent, Associate's degree preferred.
    • Proven experience as an IT Support Technician, supporting Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft365.
    • Experience with Mobile device management including IOS and Android devices.
    • Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, printers/copiers, and network systems.
    • Experience using a ticketing system, where all requests are logged and resolved within established SLA's.
    • Familiarity with dealership management software and automotive industry-specific applications is a plus.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
    • Outstanding communication skills, capable of explaining technical issues in simple terms.
    • A commitment to maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+/Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are desirable.
    • High level of organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
