    Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master Lead Consultant with our client in the transportation industry in their Atlanta, GA location.

    This is a 12 + month contract position.

    Guides and coaches the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customersGets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniquesResponsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelinesHelps employees and stakeholders understand and enact Scrum and empirical product developmentCoaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum teamWorks with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teamsResolves team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organizationWorks with Agile coaches and other Scrum Masters to grow within the roleContributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organizationRecommends change that increases the productivity of the Scrum TeamEnsures the Product Owner knows how to arrange the Product Backlog to maximize valueFacilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint RetrospectiveActs as a leader who coaches and supports Agile teams assigned to mainly Business as Usual (BAU) work and to a lesser degree, important department initiatives and applicable portions of corporate projects and initiativesRequirements:Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principlesAt least one Scrum Certification from Scrum Alliance or SAFeExcellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skillsKnowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e.

    Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practicesAdept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniquesPlanning and problem solving with product management and delivery teamsDesired skills:Bachelor's degree and 4 years of product or project development experience, or 3 years of project development experience on an Agile Team or an equivalent combination of education and work experienceDemonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniquesIntermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)

    Strong ability to anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate, and make trade-offs, and balance business needs versus constraintsAbility to influence partners, customers, and vendors in support of the project plan and assigned resourcesExperience working with technical and business teams to engage and educate both sides on the concept of Business Value and Technical Value, while striving to achieve sweet spotExperience leading IT projects, especially infrastructure within a very large environmentIf you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please applyAbout Genesis10:
