    Role x You:

    As the Head of Business Development you will be responsible for proactively defining and delivering new opportunities and revenue streams to drive growth within Virtue. You will have a love of working with senior internal and external stakeholders to drive business success. This is a leadership role reporting into the the Managing Director within the region. This role is responsible for proposing and co-ordinating the agreed strategies for new business growth. You will be a valuable business partner to our regional team,, spotting opportunities and assessing their suitability for the markets in which we work.

    Responsibilities:
    • Manage regional pitches and support local new business pitches across our markets.
    • Collaborate across regions to bring the best of our teams across disciplines to pitch
    • Support active prospecting in region, establishing good momentum and a sense of ownership in the markets
    • Manage the delivery of creds, RFIs, RFPs, pitch presentations and all pitch collateral, with a keen eye for detail,
    • Seamless pitch project management covering all aspects from kick off to close, building and governing workstreams to ensure all deadlines are met and work is of the highest possible standard
    • You will enjoy seeking and making new connections and get a kick out of generating new opportunities.
    • Can-do attitude and an adept ability to manage the consistently multiple spinning plates that come from managing new business in an ambitious business.
    • To deliver the strategy for sustained, purposeful and profitable growth
    • Help define and shape the new business strategy
    • Manage and lead a team to create proactive strategic POVs for chemistry meetings, working very closely with the Strategy team.
    • Represent and promote the interests of Virtue with potential clients
    • Ability to nurture, lead and grow a business development team at varying levels (in due course)
    • Work closely with the Marketing and Comms team to promote our work across our social channels, newsletter, proactive client outreach email / showcase of our work, etc
    • Partner with global leads across New Business as a complementary effort with Global Growth Lead.
    You have these:
    • Significant experience in Business Development and growth roles driving opportunities and exceeding targets
    • Experience as high performing Head of Business Development or similar growth role
    • Experience leading the business development function in a high paced creative agency environment
    • Ability to anticipate project needs and discern work priorities
    • You have flawless English language ability with outstanding communication and presentation skills.
    • Excellent business acumen, and interpersonal skills
    • Experience and comfort in a fast-paced environment, with an ability to anticipate and respond quickly to change
    • Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment or unstructured situations with a high degree of autonomy.
    • People-oriented with ability to motivate and build teams

    Pay Range Details:

    New York/California: $175,000 to $200,000 USD
