- Organization and administration of the volleyball programs
- Establishes overall goals for the programs
- Develop a recruiting network for both programs
- Recruit academically qualified players utilizing current methods
- Practice and game planning and preparation
- Attends and participates in admissions recruiting events
- Serves as a role model to STUDENT-athletes
- Ensures compliance to all rules and regulations (Elms, NCAA, GNAC)
- Manages programs' budgets
- Develop effective professional relationships in Athletics and on campus
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics
- Proven ability to relate to STUDENT-athletes and the student body
- Proven ability to create professional relationships on and off campus
- Proven recruiting skills and abilities
- Proven administrative and organizational skills
- Ability to use computer software and office equipment
- Valid driver's license and good driving record required
- CPR, First Aid and AED certification required
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field required; Master's degree preferred
- Coaching at the collegiate level preferred
- Use of general office equipment in an office setting
- Requires an equal amount of standing, sitting, walking, bending, stooping,
- Requires the ability to travel between buildings on campus with exposure to
- May require driving or traveling to locations in the local and outside the local area on official College business
