- Has direct accountability for tactical and strategic direction for the plant
- Autonomy to build and implement plant vision and strategy; drive plant focus; prioritize projects and strategies; ensure alignment of functional groups
- Directly manage the plant leadership team comprised of functional heads (department manager level) for various functions including hiring, development, promotions, reviews and coaching
- Mentor and develop individuals through coaching, development, reviews and feedback
- Key decision maker for budget development, control, and tracking throughout the fiscal year
- Interact with R&D leadership on alignment of products and projects and specific crisis management for products or customers
- Key member of the corporate leadership team concerning supply chain information and input to strategy decisions
- Effectively interact with cross-functional HQ groups (distribution, finance, QRO, engineering)
- Decision maker for plant capital investment plan to meet site and corporate project needs
- Support plant manager peers with benchmarking of information, process improvements, etc.

Summary
The Plant Manager over-sees and manages all operations for the Vineyard manufacturing facility. They will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer. This individual will be responsible for the safety, strategic planning, warehousing, manufacturing, maintenance, quality, and sanitation of a 68,000 sq. ft. production facility with over 150 employees, producing 250+ SKU's.
The successful candidate will have experience in a high-SKU/high-volume CPG environment and demonstrate an inspirational & influential 'servant leader' style. They will develop a high-performing and flexible team culture focused on continuous improvement, safety, quality, and results that will drive corporate growth strategies over the next several years.
