Job Overview
Seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician(s) to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaving our shop meets the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse automotive systems, including powertrains, electrical components, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Diagnostics/Inspections: Utilize manufacturer specific computerized equipment to troubleshoot electrical, engine, and transmission issues. Conduct safety inspections to ensure the quality and safe operation of vehicles.
- Repair & Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations) and complex repairs (brakes, suspension, engine overhaul) according to manufacturer standards.
- EV/Hybrid Technology: Diagnose and repair advanced technology, including high-voltage batteries and electric motors.
- Documentation: Accurately document repairs, parts used, and time spent, ensuring all procedures meet dealership standards.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow safety procedures, keep the workspace clean, and maintain specialized tools
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or service technician experience in an automotive repair environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and electrical systems troubleshooting using the most current electronic technology.
- Familiarity with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment procedures, and diesel engine repair is highly desirable.
- Experience working with vehicle maintenance schedules, auto estimating software, and automotive electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong communication abilities to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Valid technician certification(s) or relevant ASE certifications are preferred.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Successful completion of criminal background and drugscreen.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work in varying weather conditions, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Pay: $ $45.00 per hour
