    We're seeking an Intermediate Level multifunctional NALCOMIS OOMA Subject Matter Expert (SME) who is highly experienced in all aspects of NALCOMIS OOMA, to include the underling business processes and system administration tasks as well to join our Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS) team at Norfolk.

    This is a hybrid work assignment with occasional travel (at least once a week) to our headquarters and requires that you are located within the local commuting distance (80 miles) to the Naval Station at Norfolk, VA
    More About the Role


    Our customer is seeking a candidate who is knowledgeable of the Naval Aviation maintenance policies and procedures as outlined in Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) CNAFINST series and possesses a SysAdmin level of knowledge of OOMA.

    The scope of this knowledge base must include advance knowledge of the VED, CM, Maintenance, Inventory Explorer, Group Explorer, Flight Document processing, Manual Flight Document processing, SAFE for Flight, Logsets, Assembly Catalog, CM Reports, Xray processing, Inventory creation, etc.

    We are seeking a candidate whose knowledge and experience of OOMA has expanded beyond those tasks that are accomplished via the user interface and into the realm of system administration and maintenance.

    The ideal candidate is familiar with the disaster recovery process of an OOMA system and/or has built detachment OOMA servers.

    The ideal candidate not only understands the ADHOC capabilities of OOMA but has used this capability to generate complex ADHOC reports based on SQL based queries.

    This is an engineering focused assignment therefore we are seeking someone who is willing to be involved in all aspects of the engineering lifecycle.

    Due to the nature of the daily planned activities possession of a IAT level 2 certification is mandated.


    This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the principal engineering team that is responsible for development and release of this enterprise system.

    You'll Bring These Qualifications
    US Citizen.
    Must have an active secret (or interim) clearance and must be able to obtain a T5 investigation clearance.
    DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification or higher (ex. CompTIA Security+, CASP, CISSP)
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 8 years + of related experience.
    Held a certification to release Aircraft Safe for Flight (SFF)
    Demonstrated knowledge and experience with OOMA application for aircraft maintenance, detachment creation and item transfer.

    Possess in-depth knowledge of Naval Aviation maintenance policies and procedures as outlined in Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) CNAFINST series.

    Demonstrated working knowledge of the VMware application virtualization suite.
    Demonstrated knowledge and ability to perform basic maintenance of the RDBMS (SAP software).
    Demonstrated ability to install OOMA software and IAVA's.
    Demonstrated experience with Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Windows 2016, Windows 2019).
    Demonstrated basic understanding of network administration.
    Demonstrated in depth understanding of software engineering processes.
    Demonstrated knowledge of DoD's Systems Engineering Technical Processes and Technical Management Processes.
    Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
    Experience working on a DoD, DoN systems in addition to OOMA.
    Demonstrated experience writing Technical Advisories
    Experience in writing and presenting technical documentation, white papers, Charters, Change Requests, System Administration Guides, etc.
    Demonstrated understanding of information security and secure coding techniques. Experience working with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
    Ability to learn new processes and propose IT solutions to suit end-users' needs.
    Ability to develop concepts, evaluate data and work towards practical solutions.

    Ability to work effectively on various types of complex integrated multi-disciplinary systems in different application domains, in different portions of the system lifecycle, within a team environment and alone.

    These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
    Knowledge of SQL language
    Knowledge of relational database management software with SAP Sybase ASE
    Knowledge of test case scenarios development and experience in presenting technical briefs based on System Administration Guides
    Knowledge of basic network administration concepts
    Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) – considered a plus.
    Windows server installation, configuration, and management – considered a plus .
