    ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in San Antonio, Texas.

    RN Position Job Notes:

    Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

    Opportunity:

    RN - OR ICU/SICU

    Job Details:


    • Work 12.5-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

    • 36 guaranteed hours per week

    • 13-week assignment length

    • Rotating weekend schedule

    • No call requirements

    • Float assignments required per Methodist Floating Policy

    • Must have minimum 2-3 years ICU experience

    • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Certification

    • Active Texas RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)

    • MICU & MSICU background preferred

    • Meditech charting and order entry experience preferred

    • Perform procedures including chest tubes, trachs, GI scopes, intubations, central lines, arterial lines, NG tubes, Foley catheters, and dressing changes

    • Documentation system: Meditech

    • Dress code: Navy scrub top and pants with navy or white scrub jacket

    • Must badge in/out for shifts and take full 30-minute lunch break

    • Clock in by 6:38 AM/PM (after 6:45 AM/PM considered tardy)

    • Strong critical thinking skills required
