    Tryfacta is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for our client in Bertie - Windsor, NC.

    Position Title: Licensed Practical Nurse
    Location: 218 Cooper Hill Road, Windsor, NC 27983
    Duration: 13 Weeks (extension or perm role if you pass the evaluation)
    Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (1st shift) 6a-230p and (2nd shift) 2p-1030p

    Pay: $45-$51/hr on W2 (years of experience may vary)

    Responsibilities:

    Position will perform routine Licensed Practical Nursing work in the care and treatment of patients, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, within a state correctional facility.

    Position is responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients, within the scope of practice to include, but not limited to, the following duties: screening, observing and assessing patients, providing basic wound care and personal care to patients, delivering routine respiratory therapy and other treatments, catheter and colostomy care, collecting vital signs and specimens, preparing and administering medications, administering/interpreting TB skin tests, observing and recording pertinent patient information, responding to emergencies, and assisting the Registered Nurse and Physician, as required.

    • Possess and maintain a valid and current unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the United States.
    • Minimum of 1-year recent experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Experience in corrections preferred, but not required.
    • BLS/CPR in accordance with the American Heart Association and provide a copy of his/her certification.
    • Documentation of medication administration competency.
