    Burrow Global is seeking to hire a Master Scheduler /Planner for a long term assignment with a chemical manufacturer in Beaumont, TX. This position will be 100% onsite at the process facility.

    Sorry No Per Diem or Relocation assistance is available on this position.

    This position will focus on capital project scheduling and planning.

    RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INVOLVE:

    • Develop, monitor and update integrated project plans and schedules so that projects can be executed in the most efficient manner possible.
    • Advanced work packaging along with strong P6 scheduling and reporting.
    • Assess impacts to critical path and near-critical activities, report to project team
    • Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, trending charts and schedule analysis on a periodic basis
    • Assure credibility of the information contained in the schedule
    • Review schedules with project team members on a regular basis to ensure that accurate and timely data is incorporated in the schedule
    • Verify contractors schedule integrity and evaluate logic and float paths
    • Create activity sequences for constructability
    • Resource load schedules as required by the project team
    • Perform job-site walks to verify physical progress of scheduled activities
    • Development and maintenance of resource loaded schedule, critical path analysis, resolution of scheduling conflicts and monitoring schedule delays, impacts and variances to the baseline.
    • Develop / Manage the (EVM) Earned Value Management progress base and ensure accuracy
    • Support in the maintenance of the WBS and coordination of work packages.
    • Develop work planning with field coordinators and hold regular field progress meetings. Track field progress and manage the progress and productivity measurement systems.
    • Conduct field walk downs with project managers, project leads and field coordinators.
    • Work with site management in driving organizational structure (headcount) based on historical trends and manpower forecasts.
    • Assist project team to develop and maintain periodic status reports to keep management informed on project progress.
    • Conduct analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules.

    EDUCATION:

    High School Diploma, Bachelor's or Associate degree with a minimum of ten (10) years related experience in petrochemical or refining capital project scheduling and planning, field experience is required.
