    Pathways Center is a behavioral health care organization serving children, adolescents, and adults in the west Georgia region. Pathways Center provides mental health, intellectual & developmental disabilities, and addictive disease treatment and services.

    The organization operates outpatient clinics; long-term group therapy treatment programs; community-based treatment; 24/7 short-term in-patient/residential facilities, and 24/7 long-term residential programs.

    This position is a part of the company's human resources team and is responsible for partnering with Pathways Center's Clinical Program Managers and Supervisors to source and identify talent for open positions.

    As the face of the company, the Talent Acquisition Specialist works to ensure a positive applicant experience from initial contact through to the on-boarding process for those selected candidates.


    The job responsibilities for the Talent Acquisition Specialist position include but are not limited to the following:


    • Collaboratively consult with hiring managers to identify strategies in acquiring qualified talent
    • Create job requisitions for all replacement and/or newly identified roles; submit for approval prior to posting
    • Post open positions on the company's Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
    • Maintain and update position numbers in the company's HRIS System
    • Maintain and update the company's organizational charts, which reflect all approved, budgeted positions
    • Daily review ATS for new applicants
    • Schedule and facilitate phone interviews/screens with qualified applicants
    • Work with hiring managers to schedule in-person interviews and realistic job previews
    • Obtain employment references on all selected candidates
    • Prepare employment offer packet for all selected candidates; submit for final review and approval
    • Extend job offers to selected candidates; coordinate start dates; and required pre-employment testing
    • Work with Human Resources team members to schedule on-boarding process
    • Move job requisitions to a "close" status in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
    • File and retain interview documents in compliance with federal guidelines
    • Serves as a member of the human resources team and performs other responsibilities as needed to help provide quality service to internal and external customers/business partners
    • Helps to facilitate New Employee Orientation training and other required in-person training courses
    • Attends human resources team meetings as requested to update on current initiatives and discuss upcoming projects
    Associate degree from an accredited college or university and two years of experience performing personnel-related functions; or Two years of direct human resources experience: or Two years of experience at the lower-level HR Analyst 1 (HRP050)
