    **Our Mission**

    We strive to deliver exceptional programs that foster growth, learning, and fun for children aged 5-12 in the Amherst, Cheektowaga, Grand Island, Sweet Home, and Williamsville areas.

    **Job Summary**

    The After School Floater will work directly with groups of students at various program locations, assisting staff in implementing activities and maintaining a safe and engaging environment.

    **Responsibilities**

    • Support daily activity planning and implementation for age-appropriate tasks.

    • Engage children in daily activities and maintain a structured environment.

    • Perform general housekeeping duties, including maintenance of program spaces and storage areas.

    • Assist with enrichment curriculum-related tasks and provide backup support to multiple program locations as needed.

    • Ensure direct supervision of children at all times, maintaining required ratios.

    **Schedule**

    After-school programs operate Monday through Friday, from school dismissal until program close (5:30 pm or 6:00 pm). Morning programs run from 7:00 am/7:15 am until school start time. Five-day availability is preferred but not required.

    **Requirements**

    • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

    • High School Diploma or its equivalent and one-year direct experience in childcare for children 13 years of age and younger.

    • Must pass background checks, medical clearance, and fingerprinting requirements prior to employment.

    • Regular and predictable attendance.

    **Travel Requirements**

    • Must have a valid NYS Driver's License.

    • Must be able to travel to various site locations as needed to maintain OCFS ratio compliance.

    • Must have independent reliable transportation to report to a designated location as scheduled.

    **Physical Demands**

    This position involves prolonged periods of standing, frequent bending, and requires the ability to lift up to 10 pounds at a time. Additionally, it demands walking, running, twisting, and squatting.

    **Salary Range**

    $16.00 - $17.00 / Hour
