- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the private country club, including restrooms, dining areas, recreational spaces, and banquet venues.
- Execute routine maintenance tasks to preserve the overall cleanliness and operational efficiency of building systems.
- Address minor issues promptly, such as leaks or damages, and report significant problems to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with basic repairs that enhance the aesthetics and functionality of the club, such as fixing doors, painting, and maintaining fixtures.
- Collaborate with management to adhere to cleaning schedules, prioritize maintenance tasks, and ensure seamless banquet setups.
- Play a hands-on role in the setup of banquet events, including arranging tables, chairs, and decorations according to event specifications.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols while utilizing hand tools and power tools for maintenance duties and banquet setups.
- Ability to adhere to specific cleaning and maintenance instructions.
- Basic knowledge of janitorial tasks, including cleaning procedures and minor repairs.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for basic maintenance.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a creative touch for banquet setup.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in janitorial or porter roles, especially within a private club setting, is advantageous.
- On-the-job training provided.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Physically able to perform tasks such as climbing ladders, bending, and crawling into tight spaces.
