    Patient Access Supervisor

    This role supports the overall operation and is responsible for all admitting functions of the hospital.

    About the Role

    • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and guidelines
    • Complete timely evaluations on team members
    • Report process and overall patient and physician satisfaction
    • Handle stressful situations and make decisions using sound judgment

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide and review reporting to track department performance in key metrics
    • Coordinate all registration duties with direct and indirect reporting employees
    • Assign and coordinate staff schedule, including scheduling rotation, time off, and call-offs as necessary
    • Responsible for upfront collection process tracking and monitoring

    Requirements

    • 3-5 years' experience in healthcare patient access or business office required
    • 2-4 years of previous management or supervisory experience, preferably in a healthcare environment, required
    • Excellent working knowledge of the hospital revenue cycle required
